Club Ride Weekend Up North: August 20 - 22nd, 2021

Our annual member-only road ride up north for individuals and couples. This is a hilly, no-drop ride at a brisk 14 - 18 mph pace on paved surfaces. No SAG is provided on these rides.

This year we have a couple of new routes planned.  If you plan to arrive after we roll out on Friday, please let Cindy know.

Before we go: 

• If signing up as a couple, one member of the household must be a WWCycling Club member
• All participants must have a signed waiver turned in before we roll out.  
• Pay the fee below (includes breakfast both Sat & Sun plus Sat's BBQ dinner).
• Download the map (links will be sent when ready and after the fee is paid).

                If you're interested in camping, there is room in the yard or 

               Boot Lake and Boulder Lake campgrounds are nearby.

When:  Noon - Noon, Fri 8/20 thru Sun 8/22

Agenda:

              Fri   Noon - arrive and get ready to ride

                             1:00  pm  Short 20-mile ride

                             3:30  pm  Social at the cottage

                             6:00 pm  Cocktails at Sandtrap Bar & Grill in Lakewood, WI

                             7:00 pm  Fish Fry

              Sat    8:00 am  Long 50-65 mile ride with a lunch stop

                            After-ride   Open... Swim, hike, or relax on the deck with cocktails

                            Evening     BBQ & bonfire

              Sun   8:00 am  Short 20-mile ride

                            Noon - weepie time... until we meet again!

Bring with you

• bike, helmet, kit, gear, nutrition, and flat-pack
• beverage of choice for at the cottage
• money for Sat lunch stop
• full-size or bigger sheets/sleeping bags, pillowcases, beach towels, and anything else to make your stay comfortable. We have blankets and towels plus the washer/dryer if you need it.
